The North Suburban NeedleArts Guild had a “fishing expedition” in The Sewing Space where they got together and all sewed the same sardine pillow pattern from Woolly Petals: https://woollypetals.com/patterns/sardine-pillow/

Many of them will be displayed at the Fine Art of Fiber at the Chicago Botanic Gardens November 6-8th 2026.

The American Sewing Guild

Two of the Neighborhood Groups from the American Sewing Guild used the space for service sewing that they donate to different groups around the area…adult clothing protectors, port pillows, breast cancer pillows, and pillowcases.

Quilts of Valor

A newly formed group of the Quilts of Valor is using the space every month to sew quilts that are given to veterans here locally.
